The Story

The Gun Vio-Let's Talk project is currently in production, and trying to complete interviews with government officials. Release date: December 14th, 2023

I started the Gun Vio-Let's Talk project out of a frustration with the gun violence problem in the United States. For years, it had circled my life, providing constant reminders of one of the many problems our country has.

I came up with the idea to make a special episode of my podcast, Hero's Journey, where I interview government officials about the topic. From there, the idea evolved from a podcast episode to a massive multimedia project. Now, the Gun Vio-Let's Talk project will include the main video project of interviewing government officials, as well as hyperlinks to each politician's individual section. On top of that, viewers will also be able to access the transcripts of these interviews, and request interviews with politicians of their choosing.

This project never was nor will ever be about supporting any one side of the gun violence issue. It is about getting conversations started on how we can come together and agree on a bipartisan solution to this problem.
